My goal for this project was to offer a small portable compilation of compliments that are meant to uplift, encourage, and spread joy to the people around us. Some of these statements have been words of encouragement I have received from my friends, some I’ve shared with loved ones, and others I have overheard and loved. I have been inspired by flowers for a while but began to deep dive the language of flowers when I began working on a flower farm a few years ago. Within this zine you can find my flower drawings accompanying the compliments with little nods to the meaning of each flower. Enjoy this mini publication and tell someone why you love them today!
