WEBSITE REDESIGN

CLIENT | LANCASTER FARMACY

Partnering with Lancaster Farmacy (LF), an organic medicinal herb and cut flower farm, I refreshed their brand for an elevated feel and redesigned their website to reflect those fine tunings. Confusing navigation, unclear business offerings and goals were the main challenges with the previous website.

Starting with a brand refresh, I established a limited color palette, fonts and their hierarchies, and photographic treatments. To create a personal artistic touch and further connection to herbalism, I brought in the use of digitized block prints of herbs created by Eli Weaver, founder of Lancaster Farmacy. After fine tuning the brand visually, I began to work on writing and editing existing website content to have a more unified voice. I also began to map out the website and navigation.

My aim was to create simplified and intuitive navigation as well as a clearer window into the heart of what LF is about and their offerings. This began with refining the mission statement and placing it high on the home page to introduce LF as people scroll through the site. With a cohesive brand feel, simplified navigation, and homepage that showcases their offerings, Lancaster Farmacy now has a site that allows the farms uniqueness and mission to shine.
